Deep down all up-and-coming artists or just artists in general want to live off their music! The problem is that not a lot of them know how to get their music out there, but how can you live off your music without knowing where to go? The internet is a revolutionary thing and millions of people are on the internet EVERYDAY. You need to put your music on the internet and promote it. In the beginning it’s maybe hard to make money selling mixtapes because nobody knows about you – But that’s why you have to promote first! You can even collab’ on a mixtape with other artists. That makes it even easier to promote! · iTunes: A lot of people think that iTunes is for famous musicians only, but they don’t know nothing! Everybody can sell music on iTunes. The positive thing about iTunes is that EVERYBODY knows about it which makes it more legit. And legit = more buyers! · Promotion: If you look at the different ways to sell music, there is one thing that beats them all – PROMOTION! You have got to promote your music!
